Bella Notte

Bella Notte

Bay Warmblood Stallion (Imp in utero from Belgium).

PERFORMANCE: Bella Notte  jumped up to 1m50 classes in 2011 and 2012, competing successful in Grand Prix and SA Championships. One of his son’s, King of Hearts , has also competed at 1m50 and there are others (off limited breeding), that are at 1m30’s presently. This fabulously bred stallion brings us world-famous lines . Sadly a colic operation, later followed by an injury cut his career short. Bella Notte was the top ranked, leading 1m40 horse in 2012 with Jodi Pieters.

BREEDING: The world famous Baloubet du Rouet, ridden by Rodrigo Pessoa ranks as one of the best showjumping and breeding stallions. He won the World Cup Finals an amazing three times in a row (1998, 1999, and 2000), won team bronze at the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000, won the individual gold medal at the Athens Olympic Games in 2001 and too many other top international events to mention.

At the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016, Belle Notte’s Sire Baloubet and Grand Sire Galoubet A, have showed their breeding excellence  as they had progeny in three of the best teams competing at this highest of levels.

Galoubet A featured magnificently in the seventies and eighties under Gilles Bertrand de Balanda at the top of the sport. He is also a proven producers  of international winners  as well as  top stallions such as : Skippy II, Quick Star, Qredo de Paulstra and Sire de Maune.

Heartbreaker is much sought after in modern pedigrees for bringing blood and quickness for the tight courses these days that need horses to be adjustable. He was very successful in international competition with Peter Geerink. Heartbreaker progeny are already known as producers themselves and have competed at Grand Prix level include Toulon, Quasimodo van de Moledreef, Orlando vd Heffinck,  Action Breaker and Quintin.

Bella Notte produces foals with good conformation, correct limbs and also good  basic paces. We have used him in the past and are very proud to have him join our resident stallions at Rivervale. He will be  available to clients and outside mares.
